The Church of St. Joseph Youth Group welcomes all youth in grades 6-12 from any school.
Our mission is to joyfully live out the call of the Gospel through fellowship, activities, trips, prayer and service ...
to become the young men and women God created you to be.
March/April I am sure that we all are welcoming the warmer weather! That means spring and Easter are right around the corner. Lent can be a challenging season for all of us but with knowledge comes power... the power to overcome our daily obstacles that keep us from being closer to Jesus. Sometimes we hear the same message over and over but each time we hear a message we gain insight and understanding.
We continue discussions that we began earlier this year with Technology Theology and the value of every life. Every discussion is just like those stories and messages that we hear over and over... continuing discussions gives us knowledge, insight, and understanding. See the links below:
During Lent we challenge ourselves to be better, to do better... We accomplish this through prayer, sacrifice, & scripture. We focus on Jesus' journey to death through the Stations of the Cross. Below are links to help us understand where the stations came from and why we pray that journey of Jesus.
Here are links to lenten activities for kids... and adults too!! You will also find an attachment about the Lenten Pretzel:
And since it is March and we will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day there is no better time than to celebrate one of his greatest gifts to us... an explanation of the Holy Trinity.
