Congratulations to Holy Family Regional Catholic School.
We received notification from the Archdiocesan Office for Catholic Education that Holy Family Regional Catholic School (HFRCS) is recognized as an Archdiocesan School of Distinguished Instruction. The Archdiocese indicated that the recognition is given after a thorough review of our Standardized testing data.
HFRCS achieved recognition based on two criteria:
Growth— By comparing the Normal Curve Equivalent score from this year’s testing to the NCE in the lasttest the students took, the students gave evidence of expected or greater- than-expected growth. HFRCSwas found to have shown a full year’s growth in the Total Mastery of Skills at all grades assessed usingcomparative NCE data.
Exceeding Potential—Analyzing the data from the ability testing (InView) and the achievement testing(Terra Nova), our school was found to have a majority of the classes meeting or exceeding their potential inall content areas at every level tested as well as a 76-90% growth rate in all content areas at all grade levels.
Congratulations to our Principal, Mr. Anthony Elia and to all HFRCS administrators, teachers, parents, and studentsfor the efforts they made to accomplish these academic landmarks.
