he main goal for any closure is the safety of our parishioners and to give our staff and third-party vendors ample time to clear and prepare the campus for safe access.
Weather Emergency - Weekends- For weekends, a decision will be made as early as possible as to closing or delays.
- Please consult the sources indicated in this policy for updates.
Weather Emergency - Weekdays- For weekdays, if Holy Family Regional Catholic School (HFRCS) is closed for a weather- related event, then the Church building, parish office, Donnelly and Degnan Halls will also be closed (parish campus).
- All activities including the daily Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, and any meetings & events will be cancelled.
- If there is a funeral scheduled, please contact the parish office or the funeral director for updates.
Early Dismissal- If there is an early dismissal from HFRCS, all activities on the parish campus after the dismissal will be cancelled throughout the evening.
2 Hour Delay- In the event of a delayed opening at HFRCS, the 6:30 am Mass will be cancelled along with any activities across the campus scheduled to take place before 10:00 am.
- After 10:00 am, all activities will resume as scheduled.
- For funerals, please contact the parish office or the funeral director for updates.

6:30 am Mass Cancelled
Out of an abundance of caution, 6:30 am Mass is cancelled for Monday, January 6th and the parish campus is closed for all activities.
Funeral for Robert P. Harron - Change in LocationThe 10:00 a.m. visitation and 11:00 a.m. funeral for Robert P. Harron, originally scheduled for the Church of St Joseph for Monday, January 6 at 11:00 a.m. will all take place at the Minshall Shropshire Funeral Home at 608 South Old Middletown Rd, Media, PA.
Please note the change of venue. The visitation and funeral will take place at the funeral home rather than at the Church of Saint Joseph.
