St. Joseph’s Church is celebrating its 75th Anniversary Jubilee and is proud to partner with the American Red Cross to be a part of all they do for our community, our country and around the world. Our blood drive is important to patients in need, but the collection and distribution of blood is just a small part of all the Red Cross does. The enormity of what the Red Cross accomplishes every day is astounding and this is one of the reasons we chose them as one of our core community outreach partners. Every hour of the day, more than 1,200 people in America are assisted by the American Red Cross. From a blood supply standpoint: The Red Cross - needs to collect more than 13,000 blood donations and more than 2,500 platelet donations each day. At St. Joseph’s Church, we are proud to hold our inaugural blood drive.
The center of our planning is the spiritual highlight of the Mission of the Church of Saint Joseph. Planning is also underway for a Triduum to Saint Joseph tentatively set for September 17-20, 2022. Further information will be forthcoming.
We are pleased to announce that the Archbishop will join us on Sunday, October 30, 2022 and be the main celebrant and homilist at the 11:30 a.m. Mass! We will have a celebratory gathering planned for afterward. More details will follow.
